Has anyone heard of the movie that's commin out next year called 'Hannibal the Conqueror'??? it's about the 2nd punic war i think and Hannibal Barca of Carthage...

For anyone not aware, he was a Carthaginian General who lead an army against Rome. the movie will be directed by Vi Diesel and he will also play the role of Hannibal...

Is it just me, or does anyone else have doubts on how well he might be able to portray this historical general?

i know they are both strong and have a certain strong presence but still...

he doesn't have the emotional depth to play an intense character like hannibal

and hes directing it as well? ehh... hes just going to make a complete mess of one of histories greatest stories
