does the half year of tertiary study rule still apply for people in uni seeking to transfer using their UAI alone? coz i got a letter from the unsw department saying that if i studied for one year tertiary only , they would still only use my UAI for selection.
the posts here seem to suggest otherwise, hope someone can clarify?

yeah thats what i thought...if you want to transfer after a semester, theyll only take your UAI into consideration since the tertiary results for that semester wont be released until after the transfer deadline.
Usually if its one eyar tertiary study, they take 50% UAI and 50% first year tertiary study.

i refer to a letter written by a uni department

"But UAC may use a 75% UAI / 25% tertiary studies ratio or they may just go with the 100% UAI.

Only UAC admissions would know which formula they use.

The FBE student centre only handles the enrolment side after UAC admissions has done their processing first. "

this is starting to confuse me :/
