Hai guys, my hair is starting to get some split-ends, does anyone know good shampoo/conditioner to fix it? I'd cut it - but I only had a haircut two weeks ago so... yeah.

Thanx.

don't use 2in1 shampoos. the shampoo and conditioner don't mix well together, it wouldn't give you good effects. some shampoos are so good that you don't even need a conditioner. after using them, your hair feels smooth and not dry. quite sexy. i forgot what it's called though

Kerastase, if you're willing to spend the money.

from http://www.ehow.com/how_6177_prevent-split-ends.html

Here are some steps to prevent split ends, anyway.

Steps:
1. Take care not to split them in the first place, because the only cure is a trim, according to trichologists (hair doctors) everywhere.

2. Don't brush hair when it's wet, because that's when it is at its most vulnerable.

3. Cool it on the heat styling tricks. That means cut down on hair dryers, straightening irons, crimpers, curling irons and hot curlers.

4. Buy a natural-bristle brush that won't pull on hair and ultimately break it off, thereby causing a possible split end.

5. Wear a hat to minimize sun damage.

6. Use a shampoo that lists sunscreen as a major ingredient.

7. Condition after shampooing, and use a deep conditioner once a month.

8. Try a hair split repair product. It won't actually repair the hair, but it will minimize the stray hair look you hate.

9. Get a trim every six weeks.

also, this thread might help: http://community.boredofstudies.org.../its-all-about-hair.html?highlight=split+ends

maybe you could try herbal essences 'breaks over', shampoo

Hair product brand.

Kerastase to Pantene is like Chanel to Maybelline.

i bought mine about 2 months ago on special, 70 bucks all up. which is really good considering. my hairdresser had a special thing that you get money off products if you had a cut that week or something.

You can start with the most moisturising treatment, Kerastase Masquintense - around $30. It will last you quite a few months if you have short - medium length hair. You only use it once a week and only a tiny bit because it's so concentrated. Worth every cent.

Kerastase to Pantene is like Chanel to Maybelline.
i love that!!!
maybelline *shudders*...pantene *shudders*

Toni&guy make good shampoo and conditioners, as well as a lot of hair masks that help in rejuvination. Basically its the same rule as with any beauty product-you pay for quality.

Visit your hairdresser as well, i got this tube of "Rusk" "being smooth creme" to soften, silken and polish.(Comes in 150g pink tube and smells awesome) Once again very concentrated so you should only use a small amount. Can't for the life of me remember how much it cost, probably 20-30.

i loves paul mitchel, its great for coloured hair
also try using leave in hair conditioner, alternatively - rubs 3 to 5 drops of baby oil in your hair
