When I say loofah, I mean something more like this:

Maybe I should use the term "exfoliating glove" instead.

epilate them, an in a year you wont have to...:)
I don't like pain. It took me years to get up the courage to wax.

isnt it excruciating to epilate your armpits?

cant imagine it'd be all that pain-free. it's one thing on the legs, armpits i can imagine hurting WAY more

shaving gives me shaving rashes
unless you've got sensitve skin or something, it shouldnt. make sure you dont have a blunt razor and your legs are wet enough

brazillian........*falls over backwards* i'm not going to even THINK about that, and i've got a fairly large pain threshold

question: we've seen those new gillet razors, right? why the hell do you need a vibrating razor?

Brazillians don't hurt as much as everyone assumes. I promise! It's such a good feeling afterwards. Smoooooth... :p

Haven't you heard of Nads? That is the best one i reckon. It's toffee, and you apply it and rip it and it pulls the hair out, root and all. The hairs grow back less black then they were before. You can also re-use the same strip 4 times.

It's the same as using wax. It seems to bind better to the hair than the stuff that requires heating, though.

Okay Ladies and Gents I have wonderfull news for you
I am a cheap skate when it comes to buying so i shal make it nice and easy

TAFE Sometimes does waxing and so on ( they do hair cuts for 8 bucks for men )
You have to call up and ask - Petersham is a good example they do beauty and hair there so it's a good idea to call the tafes and see what they specialise in :)

Also some Private colleges do it for you! and it's cheaper then going to a salon!
You can choose to go with the "personal security" of a qualitified waxer or get a student in and they do it for cheaper :)

EG.
A full leg wax with a qualified thereapist would set you back :45 dollars
A full leg wax with a qualifying student would be: 25 dollars

If you want more info on the waxes' goto Australiasian College of Natural Therapies. Bookings are essential, their campuses are around Glebe and Surry Hills.

yes, underarm epilation does hurt, but its a relatively small surface area compared to the legs and guess what?

I DONT HAVE ANY HAIR FOLLICLES UNDER MY ARMS ANYMORE, and you know what that means? NO MORE HAIR REMOVAL!!!

go me and my incredible pain threshhold.

as i said before during my first brazillian the beautician broke her nail off it was so tough and i didnt even flinch.

i am a real woman! go on, epilate ur underarms...you know you want to.

if you have a problem with pain at ALL, i would not suggest getting a brazillian. it is very painful, especially the first time. id expect it would be different for different people, but if you find epilating too painful, you will have a coronary if you get it done.

that said, i think its worth it for the results.
so if you can grit ur teeth and be brave, go for it.
