Does someone know if they can specify poems in the AOS essay section for Gwen Harwood's poetry in changing self ???

I mean, if they did wouldn't it be unfair for those people and not for everyone else who isn't doing poetry??? can they do that?:(

They won't ask you on particular ones. But the question may be more suited with a particular poem.

I'm taking the gamble by learning only The Glass Jar and Prize-giving.

Yeah- I agree with Ragerunner. What they're trying to do now is to ask a "one question fits all" coz they wanna be fair.

i thought that they could ask for one specific poem...but its unlikely.
Only if they're feeling mean...
but even then they wouldnt ask one of the dodgy ones like 'Mother who gave me life'.
I mean, what is it with that poem!!!!! It's got about as much to do with changing self as a big mac

I don't think they can.

Remember the question has to be general so people doing other texts such as John donne can do the same question as well.

Well, my teacher told us they could, and apparently they have before. They think it's out turn, so i'm learngin them all. I think they can specify for the Stimulus Booklet as well, which sucks!
Good luck
Just make stuff up if you dont know them anyway

they won't specify the stimulus booklet because it is used as a "stimulus" for discussion, and certain texts only specify for certain concepts i.e. c. self in the door, sky high, and sturt's dreaming

I called the advice line and I was told it's a 50/50 chance. She mnetioned they haven't specified for the last few years so yeah there's a possibility.

Ragerunner, I'm doing the same poems.

Apparently they specified last year for Sylvia Plath?
