hello,
I bought a used car, which is registered until nov 2007 (through a private sale). I've just bought comprehensive car insurance, but when i asked nrma if i had to buy green slip, they just said no, because the previous owner's paid for it..

So, is this actually true?..or do i have to buy a green slip for myself?...(ive always thought that green slip policies are individual, and therefore, i'd need to buy it as well)??

plz help,
thx in advance.

i think as long as the car has a green slip that's valid then that's all you need, regardless of who bought it.

The green slip is attached to the car, not the owner. You won't need to get another one til November this year.
