Don't see many foodies that stand-out on this sub-forum of lifestyle, so I thought I'd try to let the Sydney-readers know what's going on in Sydney in terms of events/festivals/new (and old) places to eat.

Starting off with this topic...

http://gfm.smh.com.au/index.htm

"Welcome to the 11th annual Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month. No food lover can afford to leave Sydney and NSW in October, it's the time when the city and state come alive with a feast of flavours.

There is something for everyone in this year's event, from street festivals to cooking classes, farmers' markets to lunches and dinners. In fact, the calendar is so full, we have had to squeeze in an extra day for the Sydney Food and Wine Fair on November 1. Enjoy!"

For those in-the-know, what sugar hits are you looking forward to going to? What 'hats off' restaurants will you be visiting? Will you be attending any 'hands on' events or Outdoor Events such as the popular Night Noodle Market?
