Germany - 13 pages
Speer - 23 pages
Arab - Israeli 20 pages


been taking writing speed classes it has helped so much.

Band Six in music is better than the average mark you will get for modern history.


Also, nobody will hire you because you like short stack.

It's a trait of their fans, the employer looks at you, sees your limp wrist and sends you out the door.

He will hire a man who can get the job done.

Why does everyone keep posting how many pages they wrote? It's not indicative of band 6 results whatsoever. You can get write 8 pages and get the same mark as someone who wrote 23. The skill is in the historical argument...Not how much you write.

Most band 6 answers are the answered in the acquired booklets.

Not 7 booklets later.

Me too (wrote an extra for Section 1)
All these obscure facts came back to me and fit the Q perfectly!
Not sure how many pages I wrote for each section, didn't exactly count. It never seems to matter anyway. You can get 25 for an essay and write 6 pages, or you can get 25 and write 14.
But that's so good you did well! I feel I did too. Band 6 easy. Teachers are arguing state ranking, but we'll see. ha. We've had people in the past come top in the state and in the top 10 and they say, "We can pick it"...But they didn't read my answers. For all we know they could mark exceptionally hard this year by judging the Qs to be easy.
By the way does anyone know the approx raw band cutoffs for Mod last year? Past markers? cem? WithoutWings?

I think the raw cut-off for B6 is around 85-88~

In general, i think the ENTIRE modern history syllabus should be re-evaluated. I think, given the time limits, and more importantly the sheer volume of work you need to know for 4 subjects is beyond ridiculous.

I mean, for one topic alone, you'd need to do at LEAST 12 essays to even have a chance at a high band.

Ultimately I think it's down to "luck of the draw' - in Russia, I got lucky with the first question.
