Do we have to take the ones with the GEN code, or can they be any unit from any faculty thats not our own?

Depends on which faculty you're in, and how many geneds from from that faculty you've done.

supplies all the General Education courses available to be taken.

Note that you can only take 1 Gen Ed from your degree's faculty. And a maximum of 2 from the same faculty.

6 UOC worth of language courses can be subsituted for 2 Gen Eds.
