Drove to Uni today for the science workshop. Most of my classes are in the main buildings - all the ones near the quadrangle place - so I chose to park on the other side of Parramatta Rd near Arundel Street.
Turns out it's either full, paid parking or only 2-hour parking. Ended up driving to a dead-end road and parking in a 2P zone despite staying for over 5 hours. The guys around said that some weeks there's no patrol and others weeks they book everyone.
Anyone know free parking spaces that are not completely full by mid-morning and are preferably unrestricted [not 1/2/4P]?
Or better yet, anyone know any sneaky places/tricks to park in Usyd without paying the ticket machines or getting a permit? (PM if you don't want the secret to be public. I'll help you out in one way or another to return the favour)
