When the question simply told you a situation (or an incomplete diagram) of a motion, how would you know what forces (& in wat directions etc) are involved?

I was doing the 2000 paper and they have a normal force for a mass going around in a circle with tension and tangential force... I never know tension has a normal force too. =(

Is there a summary of all the forces and what situation they will appear in? :mad1:

its 2000 Q5 b... (that exam is shitty hard =( )

it's just a mass attached to a string, no surface but they still have a normal force opposite that of tension. @@

yub. i did except that part. =@
i can somehow understand why u can feel a normal force if someone is pulling u along..

but i never have to do it for tension-questions before.. @@...
