Hey guys, I'm just having trouble with expressing the exponent as 8bit binary. Could anyone give me a hand please?

What about it? You just add the power to 127 and convert to binary.

Yeah but in the Sam Davis textbook, they said binary 140 (after adding 127) is 11001010, isnt it 10001100?

Yeah it is, what edition is your Sam Davis textbook? Mine says 10001100. I have a 2010 reprint.
