Hey

today i just brought a brand new, New Senior Mathematics book by Frizpatrick for $75

i have started thinking that is stupid because i already have the Cambridges ones (i found the pdf's for free ) and maths in focus?

But i have heard Fritzpatrick owns every other maths book?

What does everyone think

It is like $63.55, lol.
I like using Fitzpatrick for 2/3U and Cambridge/Terry Lee for 4U.

Use it for the questions, learn from Cambridge or another.

Depends, I think Fitzpatrick is pretty awesome. I knew because what company other than Dymocks would sell textbooks for such high prices? Get a refund and go elsewhere. :)

I've done like every Q in Fitz 2/3U (except for some harder 3U).

so basically if you have Fitzpatrick you dont need to have any other textbook (assuming you know how to do stuff)

Not necessarily. You shouldn't rely on just one book, do questions from others. However the most powerful tool is past papers.

thanks guys

My school uses Maths in Focus and it is the reason our Cohert failed maths, it is too focused on easy questions and doesnt do harder ones

I will now rely on Fritzpatrick and my Cambridge PDF's

MIF are not hsc style questions. Your school should burn them.

Don't ignore it completely. It may not be as useless as you think. Also get your hands on Ruse/Grammar/Catholic papers and you should be set. What I tend to do is speed through the exercises in under a few minutes as practice in MIF.
