hey guys, i have this assessment for pdhpe and i have to:

Use the fitt principle to design an aerobic training program for a 40 yr old female with no previous training history.( for a 3 week period) Give a brief explanation of each criteria in the fitt principle and how you applied it to your training program.

Im really confused like should my
-frequency be 3-5 times a week
-intensity i just find their MHR and all that calculations
-time - should it be between 20-60minutes
-type- jogging, swimming, cycling, walking etc

Am i on the right track?:confused:

your pretty much on the right track but:

frequence should be about 3 times per week
intesity for a beginner like the 40 year old woman should be about 60% MHR [FONT=&quot]progressively [/FONT]increasing as the session go on eg) 1st two sessions should be 60% MHR and the 3rd 65% and so on
Time for a beginner should be at just 20min increasing just like the intensity
and you have type pretty much down pat:wave:
