What level of maths required in the Advanced Physics course? which I am currently enrolled in. I did Extension One in high school and doing a B.Sc Adv, though I do don't mind Maths, I don't particularly enjoy it. I am considering a neuroscience major and am tossing up between Physics and Psychology

The School of Physics recommends that you do normal level maths (MATH100X) alongside physics, but I did fundamental units and went fine in first year physics. If you did MX1 then you have to do normal maths units. Unless you're planning on going into theoretical physics for honours/postgrad, there's no real need to do advanced maths unless you really enjoy it.

Your major choices sound a lot like mine. I was tossing up between physics and psychology but ultimately went with neuroscience. Good luck in your first year.
