ha ha i thought merethrond was a girl at first to...
but i found out awhile ago that he was a guy...
his obsession with the girls on the OC was kind of a giveaway
but i think someone had to tell me

anyway i like uni...so far.
i hate travelling there though...
oh and the design faculty told us the wrong time or something for our class
so i caught the train to newcaslte and spent a total of an hour in class
what a waste of time...
and i hate the mozzies... especially in the teaching centre
its like a swamp down there

I agree with the bit about the TC. Terrible rooms, cramped and sweaty. An AC and a bug zapper or 20 wouldn't go astray. Wildlife inside the tutorial. Hard to find, too. :vcross:

Excellent people... in mine at least.

Well, finished all my classes this week, and I have to say I have a much easier semester than expected. Assignments are looking reasonable-to-good and I only have 1 exam for uncle, and while it's closed book (been a while since I've had one of those) it is only 45 minutes.

Anyone else reasonably happy with their first week influx of info?

Is Frini Karayanidis still the PSYC1010 course co-ordinator? I heard she was taking a sebatical this year because of all the stress caused to her by the essay she set us in first semester, lol.

try Business Economics, that lecturer is a joke. I think he is related to Jackie Chan.

No, I actually like the fact that I have an English speaking lecturer and we have only one textbook:D.

Refer to the "Business Finance" thread for my feelings on the course:).

Haha primary teaching and arts. You could teach primary school kids arts. It will probably be easier then them doing their times tables and such.

So, things I've learnt since asking if others had a good first week...
a) if I had a good day I shouldn't ask others if they too had a good day
b) Cyph has... interesting hobbies
