Which application does you use for your firewall?
I can't be cunted paying for ZAPro anymore. Any nice freeware ones?

I used to use zone alarm, which was ok but a bit bloated

then i've switched to sygate (http://www.tucows.com/preview/213160) which seems to be pretty good

Or ashampoo. I uninstalled ashampoo because it interfered with my mail server.. however so did Comodo.. So i got rid of the mail server and now i have Comodo. It's wicked.

To behonest, I've heard that ashampoo's firewall leaks.

Comodo is better, although it nags alot......

I do......but hardware routers only stop inbound. If I want to block something from phoning home, then I use a software one.

Then again, my software one is off half the time anyways.
