Does the uni post anywhere why the fire brigade (or emergency services in general) was called out to the uni etc? I.e. 3 fire trucks just turned up outside the chemical sciences building and I just wondered if it was posted anywhere as to the reason why, i.e. fire, false alarm, chemical spill etc.

Dunno, fire alarms in the Law building were set off a week or two back and no one really cared. Except the people who wanted entry to the building...

If it's nothing serious, generally they don't notify students of the reason.
