FInal Fantasy X was definitely great, the characters, music and storyline was top notch.
I recently continued playing XII and absolutely love the gambit system and real time, however the plot and music were pretty weak. Also lack of classes, all the characters had same abilities and stats.
FF9 was my least favourite, not sure why but the game was pretty easy.
