i just started yr 12 this term and my first assessment for advanced english is coming up..
its an essay type response thingy where i hafta write about 2 of Skrzynecki's poems two stimulus booklet texts and a film..

i was wondering if anyone could suggest any good related films for changing perspectives. I know there are tonnes of films i could use but i want to use one that i can link to skrzynecki's poems of "sky high"....

i was thinking "looking for alibrandi" the movie cause its got that whole changing perspectives between Australians and those from different cultural background and yeh links well to skrzynecki.... but alot of ppl are prob doing it..

i was also thinking the wog boy but i havent seen that yet..
does anyone know any other films like dat?

I personally think Skrzynecki is one of the worst poets ever. 'Nuff said.

hehe yeh i totally agree...
ive read the book heaps and love but when i watched the movie for the first time last night, i thought it reeeeeeked.......

im glad ive read the book before tho..
