Outline two reasons that could explain inequality of income within a nation
1- regressive tax system (Marginal rate of tax falls with income) so a greater proportion of disposable income is taken away from lower income earners.
2- microeconomic reform. This is because it encourages a "user pays" system. As microeconomic reform entails privatisation of government owned enterprises, the focus of these enterprises shifts from political and social objectives to the objective of profit.

ESD will result in intergenerational equity which may see larger levels of sustained economic growth. ESD involves the initial removal of wastage from the use of non-renewable resources so an acceptable rate of decline for use of these resources is utilized. The effect is that resources will be utilized more effectivley, over a longer period of time, resulting in greater levels of long term growth.

edit - there were more questions at the bottom of your post. I didn't see them sorry

What is the most common measure of economic growth?
Changes in real GDP per annum

The reason to this is because real GDP is adjusted for the effects of inflation.

and does anyone have answers for the 2001 and 2002 multiple choice???
You want to be more specific? :p I have 2001-2002 answers for nearly all the commercial papers. But just asking for "does anyone have answers for 2001 and 2002 multiple choice" could mean anything.. CCSA, WeSTAA, Independent, HSC, James Ruse, St Andrews College.. etc etc

2- Microeconomic reforms, such as deregulation of the labour market, increases the allocative efficiency of the economy. This means that wages are determined through market forces which result in higher wages for those whose skills are highly demanded. This may represent the more realistic allocation of resources but it also increases income inequality.

Ok I don't think you understand what I'm saying. When you say "the actual papers from 2002 and 2001" are you refering to the actual HSC papers? If yes, then you could go to the website http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au as they are available there under "notes from the marking centre"

If you want OTHER papers, just specify their actual names like the independent 20XX or CCSA 20XX
