Netscape and Mozilla are basically the same aren't they?

well, same type of source code, etc...

Just that Netscape has more bulk in it.

Is there a way to open multiple windows in IE without opening new windows? (sorry, i'm running 98se)

Until i know osmething like that, Netscape all the way!!!

Opera for sure. Its fast, and the best thing is the disable popups button.

crazy browser is an addon for ie
(i think myie2 does it also)

it allows for tabbed browsing (one browser, multiple windows in the same instance)

also, check out firebird (previously phoenix)
that allows tabbed browsing but personally crazy browser does it for me :)

-i voted ie6 sp1 btw

I hate getting updates from windows, but it's the easiest browser to use as it's already there.

I use Mozilla Firebird, a cut-down super-fast very-sexy version of mozilla. Renders pages a lot faster than IE and the GUI doesn't feel as slow as mozilla. Loading times are also better!
