Ever seen a movie that was so perfectly put together that you couldn't take your eyes away for a second?
it's always nice to enjoy a film that has a perfectly paced narrative

i'm sure the film enthusiasts will list many, but try to narrow it down

my favourites are probably Goodfellas and Raiders of the Lost Ark
both genre films of sorts but they are impeccably assembled and don't skip a beat.
what are you favs?

I used to think any Scorsese film had that "can't pull away" quality, but his two latest films (Gangs of New York and The Aviator) have dragged considerably. The likes of Goodfellas and Raging Bull certainly suck you in for the entire duration though. :)

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one film I can't drag myself from. Even though i've seen it about 50 times. :p Such a fantasic film. PTA's films do similar things, suck you right in, immerse you into the world of their characters. I also find Coppola's films do the same, namely the original two Godfathers (especially the first).
