Hi. I want to ask something. I don't know a lot about this HSC stuff and a friend trying to iluminate me said that the extension units help. I know that extension units help. However, the UAI is calculated from your 2 units of english and your 8 best units. If I have ranks like this:

Physics: 8/12
Mathematics: 17/47
Ensglish ESL: 3/24
SPanish Continuers: 5/60
Spanish Extension 2/25
Legal Studies: 2/8
Ancient History: 2/19

How is my extension unit going to count if it is only one unit? How much does it help?

PD: Hi to all spanish people. Specially beatiful young girls.:D

yea, they take the ext unit, and then from ur "poorest" 2u subject, they account for only 1 unit. so u end up with a higher aggregate

Ahh ok. thank you. But I still don't understand. According to what you have said, the board will do something like agregating my mark of Spanish extension to maths and then divide it by 2. Isn't it right? I know they will not count my physics units at all for my UAI because I suck so much in it.....
