That's weird... I was there yesterday and they were testing the fire alarms for an hour. :| Haha, it's pretty ironic-funny-kinda to me actually... yeah I'm horrible. :/

Breaking: A major Sydney shopping centre has been evacuated after an electricity substation exploded this afternoon.

Shoppers were evacuated from Broadway Shopping Centre in Ultimo and the area cordoned off as firefighters fought the blaze on the ground floor.

There are no immediate reports of casualties but smoke is billowing from the building and firefighters are working to free shoppers trapped in lifts.

mum freaked out when this came on the news because apparently we were parked right near the thing like a couple of days before.
