In school i did this experiment to investigate the effects of an external magnetic field on a wire carrying a current.. what will be the things that i need to add in to my experiment to get the mark.what i proved is the flemings left hand rule is true...thanx:)

are you doing the experiment 6.2 on the jacaranda HSC physics book with the spaceman on it. If you are you just need to state the direction of the magnetic field, the diection of the current and apply the right hand push rule to show that it matches the force as observed from the experiment.

hmmm speaking of experiemnts... has anyone got a way to make experiment 8.6 work? our school is too povo to afford slip rings so is there anyway to make a substitute for the slip rings?? without using the slip rings?? (and the brushes for that matter?)

err.. this is still using the same jacaranda book... aaand this is for an assessment task: to build that AC generator
