i'll be happy with a pass. Seriously, i wasted so much time in chem that anything abouve 50 would make me happy.
Whats with all the people expecting band 6?

does anyone wont to have a guess at what last years raw mark cut of was for a band 6 in the HSC chem exam. if its below 85% i should be getting a band 6.

Not sure if many people have realised.. but to get an aligned mark of 94 in last year's HSC.. you needed to be in the top 1% of the state. :eek:

I know, and to get one of 90 was in top 6.1%
There are going to be a few disappointed people, unless this forum represents the very best in NSW

yeah, that's what i always thought - a mark in the 80's considered pretty good for HSC chem exam.

Meh, there's no shame in high aspirations...

I'm shooting for 95+ and I'll be one angry little shit if I don't break 90. I've done more work for Chemistry than all other subjects this year combined!

The average UAI of people who post their results on this forum is 93.
