evidence which indicates increases in atmospheric concentration of oxides of sulfur and nitrogen??

part of the acids topic.

and...

a basic salt is made from a strong base and a weak acid.
In my notes i have that it produces a hydronium ion that..
but if it's a basic salt, shouldn't it produce OH-?

evidence:
acid rain->dissolving statues + lakes acidifying
records since 1950's when we got instruments accurate enough to measure low conc
Acid rain's the main one I think...
