Hey does anyone know of really good European or British music/arts festivals on in 2010? I'm there for almost six months. Glastonbury is too expensive.

Country is of no real importance. I have a vague memory of someone telling me about a really amazing one in Eastern Europe somewhere but i've forgotten the name.

Yeah any suggestions would be more than helpful.

These are for film festivals. For dates, you'd have to just go to the website:

Venice film festival, in Italy. One of, if not the oldest film festival around.

San Sebastián International Film Festival, in Spain, is considered one of the most important film festivals in all of Europe.

Raindance Film Festival is a really big UK one.

Ones I liked the sound of, though don't know much about:

The Midnight Sun Festival, a the five day festival in Finland.

Dead by Dawn in Scottland, dedicated to the showing of horror films,
