Hi
I asked a while back about overseas quals for entry to Uni.
Have another question...... Can anyone explain what decides if you get a commonwealth supported place?
Is it if you meet the main round cut off points for your course or is it more complicated?
This has probably been asked a million times so if there is a link to another thread that would be great

TIA
J

In particular, www.goingtouni.gov.au. Apart from basic citisenship and residency concerns, all that matters is whether you meet the cut-off (be it as it stands or through a flexible entry scheme of some sort).
Ah thanks a million. Am a PR visa holder so that is a good start (no defered or discount anymore but that is actually fair enough for PR's really- works out at $6000 a year) and am finally balanced near the 2005 main round cut off UAI based on overseas quals. Will be touch and go but at least possible ($18000 upfront a year would be a bit tough on me)

thanks for the link
