Hey there. I'm looking to buy an epiphone les paul guitar. I've been looking at the Les Paul Standard and the Les Paul 100. The Les Paul Standard is pricier, but is a better guitar. The Les Paul 100 is a few hundred cheaper, but I hear that it still plays well. Anyone know anything about these guitars?

i own a 1974 ibanez,
which is a exact copy of les paul

ibanez got sued in the following years from fender, gibson an many other companys for making exact replicers an selling them at lesser prices.
i dont know if mine is a "exact replica" but it has good action an plays well

but yeah i'd fucking get a gibson les paul in a second

i have an epiphone les paul classic plus. its a few models higher than the standard i think im not sure.

you can get better guitars than that. its not that great a guitar and is actually pretty cheap. lit ooks great, but plays like crap and sounds very average.

how much are you willing to spend.

i dunno about you, but epiphone les pauls are really light guitars. almost as light as strats.

i know because i own an epiphone les paul and its damn light.

maybe you played a real gibson les paul which i'm sure is waaaaaaaaay outta this guy's price range.
