i use English whenever I can for the background exam. anyone does that? do they mark you down for this?

I haven't listened to any Asian songs for ages. Last songs I've listened to are Jay Chou ones and BoA - Waiting... . I've been listening to Muse for the past month or so.

Chinese Background Speakers exams have TRADITIONAL CHINESE as well as simplified!! *envy envy* Unfortunately, because it's too "hard" they teach simplified instead... Oh well. Long live the TRADITIONAL CHINESE~~

F*** traditional. Languages are meant to undergo evolution, and stagnating change is just stupid. Language is meant to convey meaning, not 'look pretty' and all that stuff. Plus, traditional saves heaps of time when writing, hence might be more efficient exams.

as i use simplified chinese, for all the time in the exam....

I still dont understand why english answering for the first part of listening is recommened in the exam....

everyone knows it's chinese back ground exam....
