In ChSE we have to do a small project before we start the battery thing and i got stuck with 2 internationals students. o btw does anyone here have any ideas on how to build a structure that will hold 2kgs of sand made out of paper and paper clips and can only have a footprint of a business card.

o_O Are there a lot of internation students in ChSE? I didn't see any (maybe because I wasn't paying enough attention and was too busy making cracks about the bloody M17 theatre/room/concrete coffin being the backside of the airconditioning unit ).

lol we havnt been assigned our groups for that project yet.

We have a small project (P1) before we start the car battery (P2). Think of it as another impromptu task.

For those playing at home the aim of P1 is "build a vessel that will hold 2kgs of sand made out of A4 office paper and paper clips and can only have a footprint of a business card."

Stuffed up....
I was group 5. We were the first group not to make it work......
5/20 There goes the distinction in ENGG1000.

35 cells..... There was a short circuit somewhere, or the motor burnt out.

Which group were you in?

Epic fails here and there lol.

I heard for the Chemical one, a car stopped just before it reached the finish line and I heard "FAIL, FAIL !!!".

Then my former friend's group epically failed as the 5kg truck moved across the bridge and just before it reached the other end the bridge crumpled and the truck fell and was perfectly entrenched ass-side-up in the plastic rubble.
Thank god I didn't join her group.
