We have an assessment speech for english coming up and there's not much criteria to what the speech is about but in the outcomes to be assessed, "A student explains and analyses the ways in which language forms and features and structures of texts shape meaning and influence responses", I don't entirely understand what should be said regarding this. Any explanation would be good thanks!!

The structure of a film and the structure of the book are obviously different, as of course the importance of features and forms will differ in each.

Talk about macro things like rising action and denoucement, and little things like how the characters talk to each other in terms of social class and their body language.

Talk about how Jane Austen uses this narrative voice, and how it contrasts with the dialogue. A film director usually has similar control and shows it through her techniques. What techniques strike you as you watch Clueless?
