Sarevok previously posted Murray's solution to one of the questions regarding the probability of Type II error. I personally think his solutions were confusing and i've found an easier approach. If you guys still dont know how to calculate the probability of Type II error, i'll post it up soon after i get my assessments out of the way.

Hey guys. in question 1g of the practice quiz, is it a one or 2 tail test and what is the alternative hypothesis?

its a hypothesis of a proportion test.

Are you sure its only one tail> and would the hypothesis be u=o.5?

Yes i'm pretty sure it's one tail test. An example of a two tail test being used it question (e).

And yes, i think the null hypothesis would be u = 0.5..... i'm not sure though.
