hey i need some examples. so far i have for galvanising nails used for objects taken underwater, and for sacrifical anode and applied voltage all i got is ships. so yea holla bak

Isn't galvansising like a sacraficial anode? The zinc is more reactive therefore it acts as the anode.

You could talk about using cathodic protection for underground pipelines- a wet terrestrial environment- that could use an applied voltage or sacraficial anode. Then talk about the ships like you said. You'd probably only need about 2 or 3 examples.

Galvanising I wouldn't use because it's more the passivating qualities the only time the sacraficial anode is used is when its scratched and that is only till it passivates over.

They use it on ships mainly.

Applied Voltage is used on Oil Rigs and also occasionaly in reinforced concrete if the concrete wasn't made unporous.
