I rented a movie from Bigpond Movies yesterday.
Got delivered today.
I opened the mail, put the DVD into my laptop (Dell Inspiron 13).
and.. it didn't read.
When i pressed "eject", it wouldn't eject.
Then i looked at the mail and noticed that its a bit bent, so i guessed the DVD must be too.

Now the DVD is stuck in my drive.
How can I get it out?

Shouldnt there be a hole in the tray of your DVD that you can stick a thin metal wire into to manually eject the tray?

There should be a system override which pushes the disk out no matter what condition it is in.

dude theres probably a physical reason that it isnt coming out, ie a spring is broken etc therefore the computer cant actually physically push it out.

called Dell
they will send a technician to my house in 2-3 business day to fix the problem and replace the drive (if required)
:) long live DELL!!! customer service is still ALIVE!!!!!

havent call Bigpond DVD though:burn:
im writing a recommendation (assuming that bigpond will care)
"deliver the DVDs in hard package/envelope, so the disk wont get bent"
