I work at Myer and normally get $12.1579, and during holidays I get $25.3290, so I guess a tiny fraction over double time.

Well, being the wonderful Target employee that I am.....

From memory last year (it's such a long time ago lol) i worked easter sat, and got ordinary rate!

But, HOPEFULLY, I'm getting confused. Me want holiday rate!!!

I'm working on friday, saturday and sunday and I know I'm getting double time and half on friday and sunday, but I think saturday may not be a public holiday so it's normal pay (well time and a half for me) i love public holidays!!

we get double time on the easter public holidays, but its only double the permanent rate, not the casual rate .. so it only ends up being like $15 as opposed to $10 anyway.

so is saturday counted as a public holiday or not for woolworths? ive got a shift from 7-4 this saturday and they also got me down on the roster for 5-10 sunday. the shop is closed sunday. they say if we dont wana work we dont have to. i feel bad telling them no tho cos i have already had to tell them no to 2 shifts this week (cos they fucking dont listen to my availibilitys) and i dont want them to get shitty.

thanks
