So i've enrolled in Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science, have got all my courses ready and timetable finished. Now iam wondering while iam doing the 2 degrees that i will be doing 100% of programs (100% of Mechanical, and 100% of Computer Science). Could someone just confirm this please, cause i don't want to have to change it later.

Thanks.

do you mean you want to know if you will do the same courses as a pure computer science student and a pure mech eng student and miss nothing?

cause the answer to that is no. in order to allow you to finish in a reasonable time frame, you dont do as many courses on each particular degree, you only do the core courses. so it will be more like you will only do 70% compared to a pure comp sci and 70% compared to a mech eng (those numbers are very rough, but they are definately <100%)

Basically a double degree = no electives or gen eds, you just do the core courses needed for a major in both the degrees.
