i mean com/law at usyd and macq has such diff uai req, but when u get that degree. how much difference would it make in terms of employment prospects

the only difference is ur apply for a graduate job at an old-school firm or something, and it comes down to a Macq and a USyd graduate, with exactly the same academic qualities, and the same interpersonal and other skills, then...the USyd graduate might get it ahead of the Macq...but thats all speculation anyway
it all depends how you are as a person, and how well u do in your law subjects, no matter what uni u goto

macq isnt as old as usyd, so it doesnt have the rep, but its still a good uni. dont think it should make tooo much diff...

I know Actuarial Studies students, who'll go to USyd to do Law; after their Actuarial degree at MQ (the place to do Actuarial Studies). This is because people recognise USyd as the place to go for Law. Sorry, UNSW people. :p
