If I'm talking about ethanol fuel's advantage, and I mention it has a lower ignition temperature than petrol, do I need to provide the temperatures, or can I just say: ethanol has a lower ignition temperature than petrol, thus, is easier to combust?
Same if I mention flash points and boiling points

Yes in the sense that you don't need to provide actual temps, but change "combust" to "ignite."
