Dna double helix (1 Viewer)

So for my biology assignment on DNA im making a 3D model of a double helix out of foam balls. Ive looked for intstructions on google,etc but cant find anything really detailed or with picturesif anyone has ever made one of these can i just have your advice and so forth or any links :)

Does it have to be made out of foam balls?

uhm nooo but i bought 150 foam balls haa im sure i could relate other instructions to foam though

Get two long pieces of sturdy wire and thread the foam balls with a little distance between them. Make a 'ladder' (connect each foam ball on the wires with toothpicks or something) then twist the wires to form a double helix.

Make sure you label each component of your model and correspond it to a part of DNA so you get more marks.

I would say foam balls are fiddly and a bad way to make a model, but whatever works for you.
