In distillation, would increasing the heating rate affect the boiling point? Why? Explain in terms of vapour pressure and the pressure of the laboratory.

I don't think the boiling point of a certain substance can be changed by extra heat. Increasting the heating rate will increase the rate of reaction. It will cause the substance to boil sooner, but at the same temperature.
