Conventions of Narrative is a general term which describe the language methods used by the composer in a narrative. These include alliteration metaphor, onomatopoeia, personification, tone, symbolism.

Note that this is DIFFERENT from Narrative Structure which is the orientation, complication, event, resolution and comment and coda.

Pay special attention as to which one the examiners are asking you!
