Hi i was accepted into Macquarie uni last year for chiro sci and deffered it. I was wonderi g when does UAC offer places to those who deffered for macqurie? a few of my friends recieved their deferments although they are going to other unis.

you need(ed) to have re-applied through UAC and for preferences either just put in your deffered place as number 1 if you dont want to try and change unis or whatever number you want if you do want to change. From memory there was a question asking which course you had defered and then if you cant get into say the 8 preferences you put ahead of it you will automatically get the one you deffered (assuming its on your preference list).

Hopefully that makes sense - basically you needed to re-apply through UAC and then you get the offer during the placement rounds (generally if you put down your defered place as your sole preference you get it in the first round)...
