Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows anything about Monash's Dean's Scholars program?
All of the information given to me by the Monash website and the careers chick at school makes it sound like some mysterious beast: for example, the ENTER score required for consideration is 97+ if you believe the Monash 2007 Undergrad guide, but 93+ if you read the VTAC guide, with a 20% middle-band.
My question relates specifically to Eng(Civil)-Arts at Clayton, and exactly what sort of ENTER i'm going to have to pull to get into the Dean's Scholars program, how many get awarded each year, whether I get middle-band credit for Specialist Maths & Chinese as I would for a CSP Eng-Arts place, etc.
Thanks!

EDIT: I don't intend to sound arrogant by any means, in that I am looking at scholarships, but i figure if someone is offering to pay for (almost) all of your university education.... it has to be worth chucking down as a preference.

Dean's Scholar for Arts or for Engineering or for both?

I'd be very surprised if you were able to be a Dean's Scholar of both faculties...

nah they're shit, just go for that main one called Monash national scholarship or something. that way you can do whatever you want as well

ok they're not shit, but theres better ones like Melbourne National scholarships or Access, no HECs, $2000/$5000 a year etc.
