"Mathomat" is the common one. It really wont help you much for 3U (As you should already know all of the little bits of information on it.) Try your newsagent or pencraft.
They are a bit smaller than A4 size, and come in a few colours. If you are going to get one, get the one with the parabola and the ellipses with different eccentricities. Thats all I use it for (Locus + Parabola and Conics (4U).)

yeah i need it for 4u, but i thought i might sound dumb there if i did put this question on the 4u thread.:mad1:

yeah, i did go to my local newsagent but they didn't have it just wanna know somewhere specific.

mine says "mathomat" on the top... i'm sure they'll know what you want also...
ask for both. see what you get.

i got the mathomat.. brought mine from officeworks

you how hows ti exam proved rite? .. but how can we bring it in hsc exams when it got formulas on it..

sometimes called a 'Math Aid'

it's better if you know how to generally draw the diagrams, and just draw it freehand.

hey, can someone "scan" their curve sketching template for me?? so i can show it to the shop people, c i went down to the local newsagent and when i asked 'em for a mathomat/math aid/curve sketching template....they didn't even understand me, let alone tell me if they stock it..

Well. I dont know where my mathomat is. This one says 'Mathaid 4' on it. (I had a mothomat somewhere - thought this was it - but its not. Hmm. )

As you can see by the stickytape holding it together, its certainly had its use.

which officeworks did u get it from?....i swear i have been to 3 diff. newsagents/shops but they didn't have it. :(
