What is the difference between CSSA and independent?

My school is doing CSSA for Business Studies, I think...

Yes, format is exactly the same as the HSC exams. However, your school is free to add addendums.

Yeah I know they aren't including Human Resources Strategies and Effectiveness, but I'm just wondering about the essay part, so I can at least have a choice.

independent tends to be harder for maths/sciences than CSSA. (That said some schools use exam choice for sciences and wesssta for bus/eco)
