you're probably right on the second part, but i just happen to like her cover of that particular song more than the original, that's all. and i don't think she eats cock either.

i like pearls before swine's cover of suzanne (cohen). raincoats - lola and the fall - victoria (both kinks originals) are damn fine. ghost - hazy paradise, replacements - black diamond, all of dirtbombs's 'ultraglide in black' are just as good as their respective originals, diamanda galas has a shitload, esp. 'see that my grave is kept clean' (blind lemon jefferson)

It's not better than the original (coz that would be impossible) but the Fugees cover of Bob Marley's No Woman No Cry is so awesome. It's completely different yet fantastic. Marley's version is one of my all time favourite songs, but the Fugees one doesn't come far behind.
Also not really a fan of Marylin Manson but I quite enjoyed his cover of Soft Cell's Tainted Love.
