hey, if i were to count only one unit of each (adv and ext) for my uai does uac or maybe the board or watever look at the two adv exams (paper 1 and 2) and discriminate towards a paper.
so for example, is getting:
40/45 and 40/60 the same as
35/45 and 45/60
when looking at your one unit adv mark?
or is it just a total of both and it doesnt matter?
thanks

i don't think they discriminate the papers, I think they just half whatever your overall hsc mark is and count that towards your uai.

They don't discriminate between the papers, it's just half of whatever your total scaled mark for Advanced is.

Very. HOWEVER, remember that the total mark for Advanced that you get is a combination of you internal and external results. To get those results, the exam is weighted more towards to modules.

modules is worth 60% of your adv english mark, AOS is worth the other 40%.
